Russell joined YouGov in 2007 and has been instrumental in developing its technology and telecoms offering. His main areas of focus are consumer demand, market trends, usage and attitudes, customers satisfaction and loyalty, and new product development.
During his time at YouGov he has designed and executed several leading industry tracking studies, such as SMIX (Smartphone Mobile Internet eXperience), Tablet Tracker, Content on Demand, NPL (New Product Launch), and Wearables. Russell has spoken at various conferences on operator and broadband connectivity, security, mobile payment, and content on demand as well as OTT services and has also written in-depth articles on the smartphone and tablet markets for titles such as Mobile and TechRadar.
Before joining YouGov Russell worked at Outlook Research and Harris Interactive. He holds a degree from Staffordshire University and an MRS Advanced Certificate in Market and Social Research Practice.
