YouGov analysis of Brits' attitudes to charity.
The majority of Brits have had some form of interaction with a charity over the past year. However, the type of interaction tends to differ by age, with younger generations more likely to have volunteered or signed an online petition than their elders.
YouGov’s latest white paper “What motivates charitable giving?” explores how charities can keep the next generation of supporters engaged, why some people currently choose not to give to charity, and which charities have the highest levels of satisfaction among their supporters.
The data also looks at the motivations behind giving to different causes as well as profiling those who prefer to give to animal charities.
