Robin van Persie’s goals have this week continued to attract appreciation from SportsLab’s football fans.
Following his hat-trick in Arsenal’s 5-3 win over Chelsea, van Persie is once again named player of the week, and has now scored seven goals in the three league games since SportsLab’s ratings began.
Fellow hat-trick scorer Demba Ba is the next-best ranked player, ahead of Spurs duo Scott Parker and Gareth Bale. Four in five fans named the eight-goal match at Stamford Bridge the most entertaining of the week’s league fixtures. Swansea’s convincing win over Bolton sees Brendan Rodgers ranked the best manager of the week, beating off strong competition from Harry Redknapp and Alan Pardew.
