Hollywood heartthrob and long-time whisker-wearer Johnny Depp will be pleased to hear that the nation has voted him as the celebrity with the best moustache, as the month of Movember, in which men shun their razor blades in a bid to raise money and awareness of prostate cancer, comes to a close.
In recognition of the wide range of styles available to participants of Movember, we also asked the public to nominate their favourite lip-tickling look.
Despite the appreciation for certain styles (and, of course, the delightful Johnny Depp), 47% of the public said they do not like any moustaches. So it’s perhaps safe to say that as razors and top lips make a welcome reappearance, many will be breathing a sigh of relief that Movember, having done its job of heightening cancer awareness, is very soon coming to a hirsute halt.
