David Cameron leads, but Ed Miliband gains
Ed Miliband's ratings on a variety of measures are genuinely rising. In a recent YouGov poll for RedBox, we asked: "Thinking about the proposed debate between the seven party leaders, who do you expect will perform the best in the debate?"
19% chose David Cameron, and 15% Ed Miliband – with 15% opting for Nigel Farage. The point is that we asked the same questions eight days earlier, and then Mr Miliband was on 10%. This rather trivial confirmation in separate polls nevertheless strongly points to there being a genuine re-assessment underway.
