Labour voting intention stands at 25%, the lowest since Gordon Brown was Prime Minister
This week's voting intention figures see the Conservatives on 42% (from 39% last week) and Labour on 25% (from 27% last week), giving the Tories a 17 point lead. The Labour party’s showing is its lowest since September 2009, when Gordon Brown was Prime Minister.
The first YouGov voting intention survey since the Richmond Park by-election sees the Liberal Democrats on 11% (from 9% last week), UKIP are on 12% (from 14% last week), and votes for other parties are at 10% (from 11% last week).
Theresa May continues to be the favoured choice for best Prime Minister, with 49% of people preferring her to Jeremy Corbyn. The Labour leader is backed by 16% of voters, whilst more than a third (35%) say they can't choose between them.
