Latest YouGov Westminster and Holyrood voting intention figures

In what has been a good couple of weeks for Labour in the polls, gaining ten points in the last fortnight to climb to a 33-point lead over the Conservatives nationally, it seems that the party are also doing well in Scotland.

The latest YouGov/Times Scottish Westminster voting intention poll finds that Labour’s vote share has increased by nine points to 31% since May, the best figure YouGov has recorded for the party since Labour’s collapse in Scotland at the 2015 general election, whilst the Tories are down seven points to 12%. Nonetheless, the SNP still come out on top, losing just one point to bring them down to 45%.

The SNP remain dominant across both the constituency (49%) and regional vote (38%) with little change from May. In the constituency vote Labour now stand at 26% (+3), the best performance for the party since 2015, whilst the Conservatives are down by five points to 14%, their worst performance since October 2014.

On the regional list vote, Labour are on 24% (+3 since May), their best performance since January 2018. In contrast, the Conservatives are on 14%, their worst performance since October 2014.
