Voting Intention: Con 40%, Lab 32% (11-12 Aug)

Latest YouGov Westminster voting intention figures

The latest YouGov/Times voting intention figures see the Conservative Party lead by eight points. The Conservatives are now on 40% (-1), while Labour have 32% of the vote (-1).

Elsewhere, the Liberal Democrats are on 9% (+1), the Greens 7% (n/c) and Reform UK have 2% of the vote (-1).

Boris Johnson continues to lead on our Best Prime Minister question, with three in ten Britons (30%) saying he is better suited for the role than his opponent, Keir Starmer. Support for Starmer is not far off, however, with 28% of the public saying he would be the better candidate. Two in five people (39%) are undecided.
