About one in six British gamblers plan to – or already have – put money on the Super Bowl.
A YouGov Direct poll shows 17% of British adults who gamble say they have already placed a bet on the game (4%), intend to do so (8%) or will probably place an in-play or prop bet (5%).
Super Bowl LV takes place on Sunday February 7 between the Kansas City Chiefs and the Tampa Bay Buccaneers.
Methodology: Results are based on a YouGov poll of 1,000 British adults, including 315 adults who place bets at least once per year. Interviews took place on February 5, 2021, between 10:00 a.m. and 10:31 a.m. The survey was carried out through YouGov Direct. The margin of error for the overall sample is 3.4%. The sample is weighted for gender and age but not nationally representative.
