Puckering up

Depending on which way you look at it, it’s good or bad news for revellers wanting a kiss from Santa Claus this Christmas, as 17% of Brits plan to hang mistletoe in their homes compared to 80% who do not.

What can we say? Either this means the 80% won’t be puckering up at all, or they’re already so certain of a Christmas smooch that mistletoe seems superfluous…

And as for the 17% who say it’s ‘likely’ they’ll be hanging the seasonal sprig, will their decoration of choice mean a kiss is assured, or are they just hoping to tempt whoever crosses their threshold this winter?

Never mind watching the skies for a guiding star...keeping a watchful eye on your Christmas party host's ceiling might be a better idea this festive season...
