YouGov European tracker series looks at Donald Trump's popularity in Britain, Denmark, France, Germany, Italy and Spain
United Kingdom
January's tracker poll found that 16% of Britons had a favourable opinion of Donald Trump and 81% had an unfavourable opinion. This represents a slight decrease in popularity since December's survey, with the number of Britons holding a favourable view falling by two points and the number with an unfavourable view rising by four points.
France
January's tracker poll found that 18% of French respondents had a favourable opinion of Donald Trump and 76% had an unfavourable opinion. These scores are within the margin of error of those for December's survey, and therefore represent little change.
Germany
January's tracker poll found that 11% of Germans had a favourable opinion of Donald Trump and 84% had an unfavourable opinion. This represents a slight decrease in popularity since December's survey, with the number of Germans holding a favourable view falling by four points and the number with an unfavourable view rising by three points.
Italy
January's tracker poll found that 15% of Italians had a favourable opinion of Donald Trump and 77% had an unfavourable opinion. This represents a notable decrease in popularity since December's survey, with the number of Italians holding a favourable view falling by four points and the number with an unfavourable view rising by six points.
Spain
January's tracker poll found that 19% of Spanish respondents had a favourable opinion of Donald Trump and 77% had an unfavourable opinion. These scores are within the margin of error of those for December's survey, and therefore represent little change.
Denmark
January's tracker poll found that 4% of Danes had a favourable opinion of Donald Trump and 94% had an unfavourable opinion. This represents a notable decrease in popularity since December's survey, with the number of Danes holding a favourable view falling by three points and the number with an unfavourable view rising by five points.
