YouGov European tracker series looks at Donald Trump's popularity in Britain, Denmark, France, Germany, Italy and Spain
United Kingdom
The latest month’s tracker poll found that 22% of Britons had a favourable opinion of Donald Trump and 72% had an unfavourable opinion.
This represents a notable shift in popularity since last month’s survey, with the number of Britons holding a favourable view rising by four percentage points and the number with an unfavourable view falling by five percentage points.
France
The latest month’s tracker poll found that 18% of French adults had a favourable opinion of Donald Trump and 77% had an unfavourable opinion.
This represents a slight change in popularity since last month’s survey, with the number of French adults holding a favourable view remaining largely the same and the number with an unfavourable view rising by four percentage points.
Germany
The latest month’s tracker poll found that 17% of Germans had a favourable opinion of Donald Trump and 79% had an unfavourable opinion.
These scores are within the margin of error of those for last month’s survey, and therefore represent little change.
Italy
The latest month’s tracker poll found that 28% of Italians had a favourable opinion of Donald Trump and 64% had an unfavourable opinion.
This appears to represent a reversion to the norm since last month's spike in Trump's popularity, which saw the number holding a favourable view of the US president increasing 13 points from 15% to 28%. This latest tracker wave finds that figure receding to 19%.
Spain
The latest month’s tracker poll found that 16% of Spaniards had a favourable opinion of Donald Trump and 80% had an unfavourable opinion.
These scores are within the margin of error of those for last month’s survey, and therefore represent little change.
Denmark
The latest month’s tracker poll found that 6% of Danes had a favourable opinion of Donald Trump and 91% had an unfavourable opinion.
These scores are within the margin of error of those for last month’s survey, and therefore represent little change.
