Our latest daily polling figures for the Sun (fieldwork 7th-8th March) are:
- Conservative 39%
- Labour 34%
- Liberal Democrat 16%
- Others 11%
The gap between the Conservatives and Labour remains steady, but both parties are gaining support and squeezing the Liberal Democrats and minor parties.
This may well be because the media are concentrating upon the horse race between Labour and the Conservatives and the closeness of the race. When the election is finally called and broadcasters are required to give proportionate coverage to the Liberal Democrats we may see their support recover.
