YouGov is pleased to announce that Steve Thompson is the winning panellist in our end of year voting intention contest.
Panellists were asked to predict the voting intention percentages published on our website on December 15th for the Conservatives, Labour, the Liberal Democrats, UKIP, the Greens and the SNP – and Steve came the closest!
Steve’s predictions were (almost) bang on:

Con 32% Lab 38% LD 9% UKIP 13%
And Steve said:
Con 32% Lab 38% LD 9% UKIP 15%
So except for a two-point discrepancy on UKIP support, Steve’s powers of political prophecy are pretty impressive, and for that he will be getting a bag of YouGov goodies!
