With a new album out late last week, American rapper Eminem has seen a rise in volume on the TellYouGov Leaderboard, reaching a peak of 77 in the last 24 hours. And with a high sentiment score of 82 at the time of writing, with the score having risen by 26 points in the past day, feeling is overwhelmingly positive among TellYouGov users, or ‘tyggers’, towards the star.

Eminem’s seventh studio album, Recovery, which was released just days ago on June 18th, certainly seems to be proving a hit among tyggers, with some describing it as ‘awesome’, ‘quality’ and ‘amazing’. One particularly enthusiastic tygger described the album, which sees Eminem collaborate with singers Pink and Rihanna, as ‘some of his best ever work’, while another is pleased to see Eminem return ‘with a new album packed with incredible songs’.

Some are just pleased to see the artist, whose real name is Marshall Mathers, recording music again. One wrote that it is ‘great to see him back’, and another called him their ‘favourite artist of all time’. One even called him an ‘inspiration’ to ‘people who grow up in harsh places and still succeed’.

However, amongst all this positive sentiment, there are some who are not impressed. One tygger commented that Eminem’s ‘new album is not as good as his old music’, while others went further describing his new single as ‘awful’ and suggesting he ‘give it up’.

It seems Eminem is definitely back…but watch this space to see for how long.
