Vauxhall, which recently announced the launch of a new hybrid version of the Astra, has registered the highest increase in advertisement awareness in the automotive sector in August.
The automotive brand rose 1.6 points to end August with an Ad Awareness score of 7.2, starting from 5.6 on August 2. The Ad Awareness score reflects the portion of consumers who have seen an ad for a brand in the last two weeks.
In mid-July, the brand announced the launch of a new Astra model. The vehicle is slated for a 2022 launch and will be the first edition of an Astra to come with plug-in hybrid engines.
During the same period, Vauxhall also registered 2.4-point uptick in Quality scores, which is a net score of whether consumers think a brand represents good or bad quality.

Vauxhall's Ad Awareness score is based on the question: "Which of the following car makers have you seen an advertisement for in the past two weeks?" and delivered as percentage.
