Sagefrog surveyed 150 B2B marketers across the technology, professional services and manufacturing industries to discover their most used social networks.
The study found that LinkedIn is the most used social media platform by 86% B2B marketers. LinkedIn was also found to be the top ranking platform in delivering engagement for the respondents.
86% of B2B marketers use LinkedIn for social media marketing. 79% prefer to use Facebook, 60% use Twitter and another 60% prefer Instagram. YouTube came in at 56%. 5% of marketers reported not using any social media.
Where LinkedIn leads in delivering engagement for the participants, it is followed by Facebook, Twitter, Instagram and YouTube, in that order. Further, 62% marketers reported positive ROI from paid social channels, but 5% respondents haven’t yet had any ROI from paid social.
