Congratulations to all the winners of this year’s Marketing Week Masters Awards including ‘Brand of the Year’ Greggs who proved to be a cut above during a rigorous judging process powered by YouGov data.

Greggs has been crowned ‘Brand of the Year’ at this year’s Marketing Week Masters Awards at a glittering awards ceremony on 2 October at The Brewery in London.

The high street baker has made a name for itself recently as a purveyor of not just savoury pastries, but also cheeky PR stunts and good-humoured, self-deprecating marketing.

In the hotly-contested ‘Brand of the Year’ category, Greggs beat a shortlist that included Cadbury, Ikea, Nationwide and Netflix to claim the illustrious prize, powered by YouGov data. The award is based on the views of Marketing Week’s stellar panel of judges and insight from our daily brand tracker BrandIndex and market leading audience segmentation tool - Profiles.

YouGov Head of Data Products Amelia Brophy explains how YouGov data was used within the judging process for the Brand of the Year award and why it is so important to celebrate the outstanding work produced by the marketing industry.
