GenZ’s mental and physical health concerns influence their shopping habits.
According to a consulting firm A.T Kearney, more than four-fifths of GenZ likes to shop from brick and mortar stores because it allows them to disconnect from social media. The study says that 46% of GenZ is concerned about their mental and physical health.
22% of GenZ is worried about anxiety associated with social media, while only 18% of millennials and only 13% of GenX feel the same. More than half of GenZ buys products in health and wellness categories and 58% of them prefer eco-friendly packaging.
86% of GenZ also keeps an eye out for promotions, free samples and giveaways and contests. Almost four-out-of-five GenZ also watches mobile videos while they are doing other things.
