Independent marketing, advertising and PR agencies mostly cater to the smaller and mid-sized companies to survive in this competitive space. And the author argues that even big companies have specific needs such as influencer marketing which individual advertising agencies are better suited to than larger agencies.

They claim that small shops tend to provide the best value for money with a lot more experience of niche marketing and advertising, targeted at a specific sets of people. The prices of individual agencies are also comparatively lower than the big consulting firms, which makes them a more economical and viable option.
