Voting Intention: Conservatives 40%, Labour 37% (20-21 August)

Latest YouGov Westminster voting intention figures

The latest YouGov/ Times voting intention survey sees the Conservatives on 40% (from 41% in our previous poll) and Labour 37% (from 38%). Elsewhere, the Liberal Democrats are on 9% (from 8%) and votes for other parties stands at 14% (unchanged).

When it comes to who would make the best Prime Minister, this week's poll shows 36% of people prefer Theresa May while 23% favour Jeremy Corbyn. A further 39% answered "not sure" and 3% refused to choose.
