Voting Intention: Conservatives 42%, Labour 38% (30 Apr - 1 May)

Latest YouGov Westminster voting intention figures

The latest YouGov/Times voting intention survey, largely conducted before the Windrush row, sees the Conservatives on 42% (from 43% in last week's poll) and Labour on 38% (also no change).

Elsewhere, Liberal Democrat voting intention stands at 7% (from 8% last week) while 11% would vote for other parties (from 13%).

On who would make the best Prime Minister, 37% of people prefer Theresa May while 27% favour Jeremy Corbyn. A further 36% can't choose between the two.
