Today's YouGov/Sun voting intention figures are CON 37%, LAB 42%, LDEM 11%.

This is the highest level of Liberal Democrat support we have recorded since early December, though it is within the margin of error of other recent polls, so may well turn out to be nothing more than a blip.

On our regular trackers of attitudes towards the Government's spending cuts, the proportion of people thinking the cuts are being carried out fairly has dropped to 28%, its lowest yet, with 57% of respondents now thinking the cuts are being done in an unfair manner.

The proportion of people blaming the Coalition for the cuts rather than blaming Labour is also on the rise - 26% of people hold the present Coalition Government mostly to blame for the cuts, compared to 40% who still blame the last Labour government. 24% think they are both to blame.
