It currently costs over £200,000 to train a doctor in Britain, with part of this cost being covered by medical students themselves through tuition fees. It has been suggested that doctors who are trained in Britain but then leave the country to work overseas should have to pay back a larger amount of the costs of training them. Would you support or oppose requiring doctors trained in Britain to pay back more of the costs of training them if they do not work for at least five years in Britain?
