The singer earlier this year shocked fans and industry-insiders alike with a new single, which was posted online on his 66th birthday. The event came with the announcement that Bowie would be releasing his first new album in a decade, called The Next Day, in March. Bowie is also the subject of a blockbuster upcoming retrospective exhibition at London’s Victoria and Albert Museum. The provocative 6-minute video stars David Bowie and actress Tilda Swinton, who was reportedly picked for her resemblance to Bowie, as a couple whose middle-aged domestic peace is shattered by extraordinary new celebrity neighbours. The younger couple is played by androgynous models Saskia De Brauw and Andrej Pejic.
