Lady Gaga’s penchant for extravagant costumes, striking song lyrics and eye-catching stage performances has seen her popularity soar in the latest TellYouGov leaderboard.

On March 25th, the outrageous pop star recorded a score of +86, which indicates a considerable feeling of positive opinion amongst the general public. This is reflected in many of the tygs we’ve been receiving with one tygger describing her as ‘fascinating’ and another tygging that ‘she's come to show herself as a true individual, not just “trying” to be different’.

Lady Gaga also records impressive scores for her volume of tygs, with a score of 209 - just marginally lower than the volume recorded for Alastair Darling’s budget (+243), which was announced yesterday. However, not everyone is as impressed by the New York native’s taste for all things eccentric. One respondent tygged ‘love the music - hate the costumes’ and another opined that she ‘needs to get herself a new stylist’.

Love her or hate her, it seems that Lady Gaga and her endless array of frocks and shocks is likely to make her a permanent fixture on the TellYouGov leaderboard.
