Marketers must leverage Instagram’s new updates to widen their reach and boost engagement.
Instagram has now enabled its partners like ManyChat to help businesses create communication bots. Brands can use these bots to engage with users directly and offer help or resolve their queries. The bot can notice keywords in users’ messages and guide them through preset chat conversations.
Brands can also turn their video off completely during Instagram Live sessions to offer users a Clubhouse-like experience. With Reels being the Instagram feature with the highest reach in recent months, marketers can also access insights on how well their Reels have performed and optimise upcoming videos for better reach.
Similarly, users can now repurpose existing Reels by playing a new Reel video next to it instead of continuously creating fresh content. Additionally, businesses with at least ten thousand followers will also insert ads into their IGTV videos.
