Mozilla recently announced that 1% of Firefox’s desktop user base would be experimenting with Microsoft Bing as the default search engine. This experimentation study would last up to early 2022 and would likely end by the end of January.

Last year, Google renewed its search deal with Mozilla for another three years to be the default search provider. However, Mozilla regularly runs studies to optimise the Firefox user experience within its agreement with Google.
