LinkedIn's ad business has expanded five times in the past five years, surpassing $1 billion in sales in Q3 2021, with a 97% YoY increase. With over 774 million members from over 200 countries and territories, the site records three professional signups every second.
Also, LinkedIn has 2.9 million groups, which include industries, interest groups, companies, among others. Since March 2020, livestreams have increased 89%. LinkedIn is now among the top three advertising players in B2B digital marketing.
In addition, the app generated over one billion interactions on LinkedIn pages. The number of messages sent has increased by 23% YoY. The site is used by 96% of B2B marketers to distribute content, and 80% use its paid services. Brands consider LinkedIn ads to be more professional.
