TV and movies accounted for 30% of entertainment-related tweet volume, followed by music (19%), gaming (18%), and sports (17%). Further, movies have seen a considerable growth (105% YoY) in tweet volume among the most trending entertainment topics on Twitter.
Further, trailers being tweeted out have pulled up the daily average organic video views up 35%. Trending entertainment topics on Twitter can be used by marketers to augment their marketing efforts.
