Revenue growth for the second quarter of 2021 is predicted to be approximately 105% YoY, as per Pinterest.
Pinterest’s revenue for Q1 2021 grew 78% YoY to $485.230 million, while its global monthly active users (MAUs) increased 30% YoY to 478 million. A 9% YoY jump was observed in MAUs in the US, with a total of 98 million users. International MAUs recorded a 37% increase to a total of 380 million users.
US revenue surged 65% YoY to $390 million and international revenue for the company increased 170% YoY to $95 million for the first quarter. However, the company’s average revenue per user (ARPU) globally was $1.04 in Q1 of 2021.
The US with a 50% growth in ARPU had an ARPU of $3.99. Pinterest also plans to invest in content, the Pinner experience, advertiser success and shopping in 2021.
