An integrated ad offering on Instagram will let creators get paid directly for promoting products in-app.
Instagram creators can now earn more money as Facebook plans to add new avenues like creator shops, new branded content, promotional deal frameworks, and more. In a recent live-stream chat, Facebook’s CEO Mark Zuckerberg and Instagram’s CEO Adam Mosseri addressed the changing creator economy and the company’s attempt to create “a more welcoming process”.
According to Zuckerberg, creator shops will be similar to current Instagram and Facebook shops for ecommerce and will accommodate a wider variety of users, including business accounts. Instagram will also provide advertising tools to help creators connect with followers and boost income.
Also, Instagram is developing its branded content marketplace to match creators with relevant brands for advertising. More tools will be extended to Instagram creators to help them reach a wider audience.
