This update would enable users to see Story Pins from the creators they follow on the top of their homepage.
Pinterest is looking to be more mobile-friendly with the new Story Pin feature. The feed will now automatically update creators posts on the users' homepage, instead of users having to visit their profiles.
Users would be able to see content created by creators that they do not follow on the “discover creators” icon on the carousel. This update comes as the American image-sharing and social media service provider wants to help influencers build audiences and curate content.
Story Pins is currently available in beta to a small group of creators. Pinterest’s Jen Chan said that creators are expected to understand better the “type of content that resonates with their core audience…”
