The feature has already been tested in Brazil, Italy, India, and South Korea.

In a recent announcement, Twitter rolled out Fleets, a temporary tweet that only lasts 24 hours, after which it disappears. Twitter said the Fleets feature would encourage more tweets from passive users who felt intimidated from the public and permanent nature of tweeting on Twitter.

Further, Fleets allows users to share multiple styling options with backgrounds and fonts, along with multiple media and reactions. Fleets on Twitter will be available worldwide in the coming days and will also be accessible on Android and iOS apps.

Twitter reported an increase in the number of Tweets with users feeling more comfortable with the Fleets format. Also, additional features will be added to Fleets based on user feedback.
