When consumers have a particular product in mind, 48% of US shoppers would start their online purchasing journey on Amazon. 42% Britons would begin with Google. Further, respondents would be discouraged from making a planned purchase if the shipping was too expensive, product descriptions were poor or a site took too long to load.
