The report looked to study how data collection and market research have been impacted amid the pandemic. Over four-fifths of respondents reported that market research activity has reduced.

This is in contrast to “some” respondents indicating a rise in demand for market research activities. 34% of respondents in the US reported same or increased levels of activity.

In four to eight months, 34% participants believe data collection and research activity would return to normal. Due to the pandemic, battling which requires shutdowns, social distancing and wearing masks, 76% respondents have made changes to their data collection methods.
