Keywords like disinfectants, masks, and gloves could be considered corona-related keywords.
With the pandemic’s impact gradually subsiding, consumers are reverting to normal searches with non-corona keywords on Amazon, as per a cited Remazing report. In the US, 71% of top keywords in the calendar week 6-33 were corona related, while non-corona related searches were 29%.
In the UK, the percentage of non-corona related keywords was higher at 59%. Further, Bluecore’s recent survey found that word of mouth most impacted purchase decisions for 37% of US consumers.
Online ads strongly impacted 23% consumer’s decisions, and influencers most impacted 18% of consumers. Consumers found free shipping (61%) and discounts (27%) to be compelling incentives to purchase. Free shipping and discounts influenced buying decisions the most for Baby Boomers, Gen X and Millennials.
