The Stitch functionality allows users to respond to people’s video clips with side-by-side playback.

To enable video responses and remixes from users, TikTok has launched a new feature, “Stitch”. Users can use this feature to recycle snippets from other people’s video clips to respond to them and create remixes.

The ByteDance owned company states like Duet, users can use Stitch to reinterpret the original video and add to people’s content. Stitch is a more directly integrated version of the current Duet feature.

Users can choose whether or not other people could stitch their clips with the “Settings and Privacy” option to deal with cyberbullying. Stitch will point out the original creators in the video’s caption.
