Users can curate the content they love and share the collection with others.
To rival Pinterest, Google releases “Keen”, a web and Android-based app, which allows users to curate and share content with others based on what they’ve saved. Users can curate content collections from other people and make their “Keens” (interests) private or public on the app.
Keen further allows users to expand their interest lists once they have selected certain topics. Google will use its advanced search algorithms to find similar content to what the users have highlighted or added in their Keens, a feature similar to Pinterest's 'For you' listings.
A range of tools replicating Pinterest’s features have also been added by Google. This article states, “Google could further promote them, at any time, if it felt like Pinterest was gaining any real momentum”.
