Emails and websites are preferred sources among consumers seeking brand updates, as per Adobe Spark’s survey.
The report found that 70% of consumers first go to a store’s website when looking for specific information. However, 33% of consumers chose social media to interact with brands during the pandemic.
When it comes to receiving brand updates, 29% prefer company websites and 21% of customers lean towards email newsletters. Only 19% look towards brand updates on social media. 7% of consumers get their updates from direct mail and mobile.
Brian Nemhauser, of Adobe Spark, says, “Customers will always want on-demand information that allows them to passively find what they are looking for when they want it”. This article states brands must employ a variety of platforms, to meet consumers where they are.
