614 Group recently surveyed 343 executives from advertising agencies, marketers, publishers, ad tech, and other related disciplines.
As COVID-19 restrictions begin to ease, 64% of executives from across those surveyed think virtual events help in meeting new prospects and generate leads, as per the report. Further, 51% of marketing professionals expect live gatherings to retain their virtual elements post the pandemic.
56% respondents find that live events provide an opportunity to spend quality time with clients. 44% of them as an opportunity to spend “social time with peers”. However, 59% anticipate tailored virtual events with defined groups of experts and specialists to emerge.
Global virtual events with live video feeds are predicted to emerge by 62% of the marketers. 27% of marketers believe in-person event attendance won’t likely go back to pre-pandemic-levels.
