Apparel, footwear, and sporting equipment categories saw significant growth in global markets, shares eShopWorld.
The report states US brands’ e-commerce sales increased significantly in global markets during the months of April and May 2020, amid pandemic. Demand for US brands in April 2020 was the highest in Israel (up 178%), followed by Ireland (up 173%) and New Zealand (up 168%).
Mexico with a 258% increase had the highest order volume in early May, while Chile and Singapore saw growth rates of 242% and 214% respectively. Categories like apparel, footwear, and sporting equipment were top sales drivers for US brands in international markets.
Apparel grew 98.4% in the month of April, while from May 1-14 it recorded a sales growth of 118.5%. Footwear and sporting equipment recorded sales of 106.6% and 58.5% in May.
