Nintendo, PlayStation and Xbox spent $3 million (in total) on ads in April, as per MediaRadar.

The gaming category spent $46.2 million in ads in April amid the pandemic, compared to only $21.4 million in January 2020 sates the report. Game titles increased spending by 60%, from $10 million in January to $16 million spent in April.

The top five game titles by ad spend spent a combined total of $7.6 million in April. Ad spends for both mobile games and game retailers including online sellers’ improved from $5 million to $9 million in April.

The top advertisers by spend were Gamefly, PlayStation Store, G2A, and Steam. Todd Krizelman, CEO and co-founder, MediaRadar said, "The video game industry is a significant beneficiary of the free-time some consumers now have during the pandemic”.
