Real-time, in-app information will be curated to help businesses make decisions quickly on Facebook.

Facebook and Instagram will now have new tools to help small businesses stay informed and connected while allowing users to discover and support them in their area. To encourage users to promote and share a small business, Facebook is introducing #SupportSmallBusinesses.

The “Support Small Businesses” sticker is a similar feature for Instagram. Businesses mentioned along with the sticker can repost the content on their story. Further, “Businesses Nearby” on Facebook will let users find essential products and services quickly.

Also, Facebook is building a dedicated resource centre for businesses with the latest information regarding COVID-19. An upgrade to Messenger’s Business Inbox is expected. Brands can also add COVID-19 tags while posting on the Facebook business page, providing updates on the pandemic.
