The feature will be globally available for both the desktop and mobile app versions.

Professional networking platform, LinkedIn has launched the "polls" feature to help gather feedback for organisations and individuals, and boost overall user engagement. Users can choose the ‘Create a Poll’ option in their message composer tab, where they can type the question and add up to four answer options.

Users can also customise the duration of polls between the range of 24 hours to two weeks. LinkedIn members can share the poll posts with their connections, specific groups or a set of people within their connections.

LinkedIn stated that businesses can get relevant insights like users’ favourite tools for email marketing by targeting specific groups of people. Users can also track the poll insights in real-time giving out a more holistic version once the poll sharing stops.
