Additional content related to the events page will be hosted on a dedicated page.

As COVID-19 cancels more events, LinkedIn announced its plans to merge the live-streaming option with its events tool. The update will allow companies to directly broadcast virtual events on the platform and expand their capabilities to host professional events.

Brands can broadcast live events and host event information on a normal event page while limiting the broadcast of their video to only selected audiences. Any related discussion is to be hosted on the events page, providing companies with an “all-encompassing event solution”.

Attendees can click “Attend” on a virtual event and they will be notified via LinkedIn when the stream goes live. LinkedIn states the offering will help companies bolster their relationships with more targeted audiences.
