Mitto and Pollfish surveyed 7000 consumers across the US, Brazil, Nigeria, Spain, the UAE, China, and Australia during the pandemic.
Recent weeks’ communication by brands has made 77% of consumers feel cared for. However, 41% of consumers on average are now ready to hear about topics unrelated to coronavirus.
30% of those surveyed say brands have made them feel less anxious about COVID-19. Also 53% of consumers reported hearing from brands more often in the last few weeks, and 73% deemed this increase in contact to be appropriate.
58% of those polled welcomed communication informing them about changes in business that impacts them. Only 11% were uninterested in hearing from brands. Information about essential services like doctors and banks ranked higher than delivery services.
