Pinterest Shop rolls out a new collection of sustainable products to help SMBs during the pandemic

The platform observed search for “support small business” have increased by 351% over the last few weeks.

With consumers looking for inventive ways to help small businesses, Pinterest has launched a new collection of suitable products based on trending searches in the last few weeks. Searches related to supporting small businesses (351 %), eco-friendly living (93%), zero waste products(108%) and sustainable gifts(73%) have grown substantially.

The products, which will be available on Pinterest Shop, will leverage these insights. The social visual discovery platform’s launch has put the spotlight on small eco-friendly companies which create sustainable products.

Pinterest is also encouraging SMBs to share their stories on their blogs and emails. Other social platforms, including Facebook and YouTube, are also launching features to help small businesses during the pandemic.
