IGTV app updated to make it more creator-focused

To get more people to use IGTV and promote creators making long-form videos, Instagram has rolled out updates for its IGTV app. The homepage has been redesigned to feature creators up top. The creators featured there will depend on who the users follow, and content based on IGTV’s algorithms.

IGTV app will also receive the Discover tab, displaying new and relevant content along with a hands-free recording mode. Creators can further get more views on their IGTV content by posting 15 seconds of their content in their stories.
