Influencers are planning to create and post more video content.
A survey by Influence Central highlights how the pandemic has changed how influencers create content. As per the study, 73.6% of the influencers have already addressed COVID-19 and the current “stay home economy” with their content. Only 26.6% focused on regular content despite the crisis.
Further, 88.9% of influencers are focusing on creating content that helps small businesses and homegrown brands. 70% of those polled found their social media audiences turning towards them for guidance on coronavirus-related issues.
With influencers staying at home, 50.2% of them are planning to create and post more video content. 87.1% of the influencers have increased their online shopping activities as compared to pre-virus times. They’re also working towards informing and urging consumers about steps to take to tackle COVID-19.
